Jack Howard

Jack Howard is widely regarded as one of the hair industry’s top commercial colourists and educators. In 2021 he approached us with the ambitious project of creating and launching a new online education platform for aspiring (and professional) hair artists.

We began by taking a deep-dive into Jack’s passionate, and hyper-engaged social media audience. By gaining insights from potential ‘real-world’ users, we were able to use the data gathered to inform both the design, features, and business model of his new platform.

By offering a range of education styles, from online video tutorials, to group classes & events, to 1-on-1 coaching, within a flexible membership or ‘pay-as-you-go’ model, the platform successfully caters to the wants and needs of Jack’s audience – resulting in almost half of the project investment being recouped within the first week of launch.
